Flip Slats - Flip Down Coat Hangers

We recently figured out a clean and elegant way to make this slat wall panel have integrated flip down slats that will act as coat hooks in an entryway.

The brass fin hidden behind the Oak slat creates an alignment for the wood slats to accurately line up, so it cannot go astray.

Pre fitting these slats before the glue in to test their aesthetics and functionality. The Oak slats in Rift cuts are not only strong and durable, but a beautiful aesthetic.

The tooling to cut the slats for the flip down component is very thin, to allow for the seam to be tight and not disrupt the grain pattern.

These slats will now all get assembled and go off to the finishers. The flip down slats are on their way to being installed at the residence for final use!
